UPSC EPFO has 2 stages - Recruitment Test and Interview.
The stage-1 will be an offline exam (Pen & Paper Based) and the next stage will be a face-to-face personality test.
The entrance examination is a test of aptitude in mathematics, statistics and computer science. The questions will test familiarity with school level mathematics, discrete mathematics, probability theory, logic, and programming.

see syllabus is slightly different for different universities and institute. I can tell you should have engineering mathematics, engineering physics or chemistry, basic electrical electronics engineering, engineering mechanics, engineering drawings etc. first year syllabus should be same for all departments. I would suggest you to check the official website

The question paper for entrance exam is divided into 2 parts and you will have to prepare accordingly. The multiple choice questions will be asked.
The total number of questions will be 30 in part A
Part A - It covers the basics of engineering. Technology and pharmaceutical.
