NTSE tests your basic aptitude skills in the common subjects till Class 10. It's obviously a known fact that the syllabus of CBSE and ICSE differs quite a lot and NTSE has a bit inclination towards CBSE.

Well, brother your best five subjects are always taken in consideration in calculating your percentage.

Hence, whichever subject you have scored the least, will be taken out/removed from calculating your percentgae and from the remaining five subjects, yoru percentage would be calculated.

I think for maths cengage is more than sufficient.
For physics hc verma , erodov
For chemistry
Organic - Ms chouhan or himanshu pandey
Inorganic - ncert
Physical - p bahadur

According to NTA who is the conducting authority of NEET exam. 

  • A candidate of general category have to score 50% in PCB to be eligible for a medical seat
