My 12th Result is OUT (UP board) but while filling the form Of JEE Mains season 2, in 12th details section, passing year 2022 is not showing so should I select appearing option?

Aditi Singh 24th Jun, 2022

Yes you can select the '12th Appearing' option as it counts the same year of passing after complete result declaration of all boards of education. After you select this option, your year of passing/ appearing will automatically mention the year 2022.

I had enrolled in bcom honours account course, my first year is about to compete, my 12th subject were PCB, right after my 12th result i got frustrated bcz of pandemic n i mistakenly opted bcom, and i heavily regret it, im thinking of joining bsc again, is it possible or am i stuck with commerce?

Arhana Chakraborty 30th May, 2022

If you want to leave the BCOM course then I would recommend you to cancel your admission from the college you are studying BCOM and then you have to take admission as a fresher with the help of your 10+2 result, in the BSc course at the college of your choice. So if you wish to go for the BSc then you can obviously go for it cancelling the admission in the BCOM course.

The top BSc subjects you can opt for the best career ahead after PCB in 10+2:

  • Zoology
  • Botony
  • Forensic
  • Forestry
  • Biology
  • Biotechnology
  • Bioinformatics
  • Food technology
  • Nutrition
  • Dairy technology
  • Agriculture
  • Genetics

what to do if my 12th result and transfer certificate mentioned me as general category but i am ST. will that give me trouble in clg counseling of NEET

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 22nd Apr, 2022

Hi

No, there will be no problem even if you your category is written as a General on your result and your transfer certificate . You can still select st as you category in your Neet application form provided you have a valid ST category certificate

This is because ,

when one belongs to reserved category them it depends upon the candidate whether he  wants to avail reservation or not

When he doesn't want to avail reservation he can choose general as  his category , so I am guessing that while getting admission in your 10 +2 ,you didn't want to avail reservation that is why you had chosen general as your category and that is why it is written general on your transfer certificate and result .

But now that you want to get St  reservation  in neet you can definitely choose ST  as your category provided you have a valid ST category certificate
