Good Evening sir My Brother was studied Degree course in BSc-Computers stream in Aacharya Nagarjuna University at 2007-10 Batch. But he was discontinued.Later he again wrote the exams in 2017.He completed 3 subjects out of 6 subjects. Is there any chance sir to complete those remaining 3 subjects sir?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 8th Jul, 2020

Whenever you join a course, there is a minimum period and maximum period during which you should complete the course. The registration is only valid for that period of time. For example, B.Sc Computers is a 3 year course and the maximum period of time that you can complete the course is in 7 years and that is the reason in 2017 your brother was able to appear for the examination for 3 subjects. But now it is 2020 which means it has been 13 years that he registered with the University for this course and so his registration must have expired. So he needs to register afresh. But ideally we would suggest you to talk to the College to check the procedure to see if he can complete the remaining 3 subjects or has to registered afresh and complete his Bachelor's degree.

what will be the fate of students who passed mbbs before 2017 if NEXT gets implemented in 2022?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 27th Jun, 2020

It is too early to speak about 2022 because we are talking about something that might happen in 3 years from now. MCI which stands for Medical Council of India has been replaced by NMC which stands for National Medical Council. And NMC did propose scrapping of NEET PG in gavour of a more friendly approach called NEXT. In this, Candidates will be considered for PG admissions based on the marks scored in their Graduation instead of an Entrance examination. And NMC has decided to allot 3 years to come up with the guidelines and implement it. This was proposed in 2019 and so we do not know whether it would be implemented in 2022 or not. We need to wait for official information regarding this.

Hello,

You might not find your marksheet online. I would suggest you to go your college administration office or examination department in which you have passed your graduation and request them to provide your graduation certificate or marksheet and do the necessary. They will help you in this regard.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 24th Jun, 2020

Hello,

Yes, you can pursue your degree through open university. There are few things which you need to check is eligibility requirements before applying for any college or course. Open degree is like any other degree but the only difference is you don't need to attend classes regularly while you need to attend classes regularly in regular mode. You just need to appear in final end semester exams in open university. Toughness depends on your academic performance, knowledge and capabilities.
