I did class 10 in 2015 but them I failed my class 11 and completed my 12 by 2018 after that I prepared for Jee 2019 but failed in drop year so I reappeared and got 99.3 percentile in 2020.Will my placement be affected due to my year gaps?(I would be getting top Nits)

Mrinalini Sarkar 26th Sep, 2020

Hello,

So, first of all what you did is phenomenal honestly. I know you must be stressed but see the thing is most of the students take at least a year gap after 12 for preparations. Obviously you will be questioned about taking a drop year but if you fill the companies CGPA criteria and have proper knowledge in your field you will get a good placement. It depends on your hard work and focus. Other than that I don't think it would affect your placements that much or at all.

Good luck.

Pallavi Pisal 20th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

The cut-off for BAMS is 400+ for General Candidate, 360+ for OBC and atleast 320+ for SC/ST candidates. Private colleges may accept a score lower than this, but for government colleges you need to score this much atleast. The scores might vary depending upon the college and the domicile state. In Maharashtra BAMS Cutoff for Open category approximately 300 for male and 280 for female.

I  also can refer you the following college predictor link which will help you sort colleges:

what was the cut off for general category in koppal institute of medical science karnataka under 15%aiq in the year 2018 ?

Anurag Khanna 29th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

As we go through previous year's cut-off (2018) then it shows that in the year 2018 the closing rank was 73626 for Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences under All India quota for General category.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://www.careers360.com/colleges/koppal-institute-of-medical-sciences-koppal/cut-off?college_id=9059&exam_sub_exam_id=789&gender_id=1&counselling_id=1557&caste_id=2

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
