ECE branch at Aacharya Nagarjuna University is good then any other private college. The pros of joining ANU will be it has good infrastructure and the faculty is really good with phd scholars. And the lab facilities are also appreciable with adequate equipments. The student have good campus life and fun. There is wifi facility in whole campus.

The cons of the ANU is the hostel food is quite not appreciable, but there is no problem for the day scholars,. The placements are also not too good the highest salary 9-10 lakh and the average salary is around 3-4.5 lakh, wheras the lowest salary was 2.4 lakh..

Acharya Nagarjuna University Guntur is a government NAAC A accredited state university. The university have multiple colleges which offers the course of BTech on the basis of entrances such as AP EAMCET , AP ECET . The university don't offers the course of BTech instead its affiliated college offers the course.

JNTU is good for MCA and has better placement records and academics than Acharaya Nagarjuna University. But your requirements may change the option of college. ANU, Guntur is a Government NAAC A state university. The university have very good infrastructure and have quite a good faculty strength. ANU offers multiple degree courses both in UG & PG level but the placements are offered only for the professional course such as Engineering (offered by affiliated colleges), Pharmaceuticals (offered by affiliated colleges). For the academic degree courses, there are no information available regarding the placements.

Yes you are eligible for the sub- inspector jobs in Telangana. The educational qualification required for this job is a basic graduation degree from any recognised university. Since you have stated that you have finished your distance education degree from a Recognised University, you are eligible to apply.

You must also keep in mind the other eligibility criteria.

Age limit:

The most important criteria is the age limit which is 21 to 25 years for the SI job(upper age relaxation for SC, ST and BC is 5 years).

Height and Weight:

The height of the applicant must not be less than 167.6cm(Male) and 157.5 cm(Female) and weight must not be less than 47kg.

In addition to the above mentioned criteria, some other physical standards like 100 m run, long jump, high jump and shot put are also necessary for eligibility.
