I have got 195.5 ( in PCM ) from WBCHSE (west bengal board). Can I get aeronautical engineering in MIT through TNEA ?

Manishankar 31st May, 2019

Mr.Hrishikesh Ghosh

My answer will be It depends upon which category you belong to. If it's general, you will need atleast 198. If it's BC then 196 and 194 for BCM. 195 for MBC and 190 for SC/ST. This is just an arbitrary expected cutoff.

Shyam Vs 29th May, 2019

Dear Syed,

As  aeronautical and mechanical branches are professional courses of study, apart from JEE Main(or other recognised entrance examination), one should also appear for the entrance examination conducted by the college itself. Selection to these courses is purely based on merit(rank obtained in the entrance test).
