what are the differences between aero space engineering and aeronautical engineering? what are the current growth of opportunities?

Anonymous 12th Apr, 2018

Dear Thrinadh,

Aerospace engineering is concerned with designing and building aircraft and spacecraft. A bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering would likely include both specializations, whereas a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering would focus solely on those vehicles that fly within the Earth's atmosphere.

Both have good scope in the future

One of my cousin finished +12 (2018) interested on Aeronautical Engineer, Can you briefly explore opportunities in this strem.

Pritesh Rajpurohit 11th Apr, 2018

Aeronautical engineers specialises in maintenance and designing of aircrafts for their better operations.

There are many opportunities both in public and private sector for aeronautical engineers. Organizations like NAL(National Aeronautical Laboratory), HAL (hindustan Aeronautical Laboratory), DRDO, ISRO, Indian Air Force, Department of civil aviation etc. provide opportunities in public sector.
