In order to take admission in Anna University for Aeronautical branch you have to apply for TNEA exam.

There will be no entrance exam for TNEA only counselling will be there.

It will provide admission on the basis on 12th class.

Aeronautical engineering from top NITs and other centrally funded Institution shall accept JEE Main.

Where as the top coveted IITs shall accept JEE Advanced.

Your son needs to be jn top 2.24 lakh students from JEE Main 2018 to qualify for JEE Advanced.

Yes you can definitely go with aeronautical engineering if it interests you.

Aeronautical engineering is subdivision of Electrical engineering and requires basics of Electrical and Integration of Mechanical engineering.

Major roles offered are Aircraft maintenance, Fuel and Missile launching, Shuttle Designing, Spectrum Auctions, Product Roadmap development, Material Quality testing, etc.

These are totally different course from each other.

It totally depends on your interest which course you want to prefer.

 

Aeronautical Engineering- If you want to make your career in aircraft, airplanes, jet planes and space shuttles you can opt for aeronautical engineering.

Hi, The merchant navy is not exactly about jobs abroad. Also I am not sure of taking up courses especially online ones as they be recognised or not. I think you should ask your college and teachers about this as they will know better. Personally I wouldnt suggest doing two

Hi, See leading universities like Manipal, SRM offer aeronautical. Some colleges in Tamilnadu also offer them- however the admissions to them is through the other state students quota through TNEA.
