Hi, No NIT has aeronautical engineering department. Only a few IIT's (probably iitm, iitb, iit kan, iit khara) offer aerospace engineering and it also requires high Jee Rank. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
Some of the institutions in India providing this course are: 1.IIT Bombay-Mumbai 2. IIT Kanpur-Kanpur 3. IIT Kharagpur-Kharagpur 4. IIT Madras-Chennai 5. Acharya Institute of Technology Overall, nothing can match IIT and IIST.
There is a decent scope of pursuing this course in Abroad. But the cost involved can be much high and they do require work force from India as well.
You require atleast 50% in each subject in class 12th. You should have compulsory science subjects of PCM mandate to apply in this course. Maths is required with Physics and Chemistry.

It is a 4 year course to pursue from any institute/university. You will learn about various topics like Engineering drawings and designs, strength of material, technologies, aeronautics, aeronautics software engineering, maths, about aircrafts, airplan performaces and control. It is a vast course and these will be covered in graduation.
