Your JEE rank should be above 1200 in open category if you wish to get into IITs for obtaining a technical degree in aerospace engineering at IISc Bangalore, IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Kharagpur, IIT-Madras, and IIT-Bombay.

If your rank is somewhere around 10k also you can apply for good institutes like Indian

In order to take admission for Aerospace Engineering, IIT JEE is the Entrance Exam to get admission for the programme, There are other university level or state level exam you can apply.

As per the eligibility you should be passed or appearing class 12th. To apply for JEE
