Now a day’s aerospace engineer’s basic salary in public sector companies like HAL is above Rs.40,000 and above Rs.30000 in companies like NAL. In the defense sector organization like DRDO, you will be given a basic pay of 39000 to 67000 according to your grade.

To become an aerospace engineer, you must complete a bachelor degree in aerospace or aeronautical engineering , that has been approved by the Accredition Board for Engineering and Technology. It can take 4-5 years. You can begin your education by enrolling in core subjects like mathematic and Chemistry.
To study aerospace engineering from IIT Madras you need to appear for JEE advance and only those candidates who qualified JEE main able to appear for JEE advanced once you get good rank in JEE advanced you can get admission into IIT Madras for aerospace engineering there is a fee
