yes , you can apply for aerospace after complition of mechanical diploma . You can opt for degree programme i.e. B.Tech in Aeronautical engineering by D2D process. D2D process allows diploma holder students to get admission direct in 2nd year of B.Tech.

Yes , IIEST is well reputed college . It is located in west bengal.

Fee structure is likely same as NIT. Also it's mhrd ranking is better than some NITs.

So doing aerospace engineering from IIEST will be worth but don't think about placement. placement is good but
