You have less chances to get government colleges through JEE Main. You should take admission through WBJEE

JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) conducted by the IITs.
Hindustan University Entrance Test (HITSEE)
IISAT Admission Test (IIST, Thiruvananthapuram)
SRM Engineering Entrance Examination (SRM EEE) etc.

The average package(CTC) offered  for CSE in Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) for Industrial Engineering & Aerospace Engineering  ranges between 6-7 lpa.

You can give Gate exam in any branch but admission in Aerospace engineering depends on college criteria which you will have to check separately as it varies.

Chances are less.go for counselling.But don't go nit Mizoram manipur. Probability of placements are very low. Going there would be a waste.bro it will. Be good for you

I got 1370 rank in Amrita exam. I am intrsd in aerospace, but many say that b.tech is not enough to get me a good package.what should I do?

If you are interested in aerospace engineering you can opt for it there are good placements it also depends on your calibre.

CSE and Mechanical are evergreen branches and they have more scope in terms of job.

Choosing a branch should be depend on your interest and passion.
