In self finance colleges, 10% seats are reserved for managemnet quota. In management quota, the college charges more fees and utilise it for infrastructure development of the institute.

Top colleges offering seats in Bsc agriculture are;

1) Punjab University, Ludhiana

2) Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar

3) Tamil Nadu Agriculture

You can absolutely apply for B. Sc agri with any rank. But the odds of you getting top agriculture colleges is less as they demand a rank within the range of 6k to 15k maximum. Therefore, I suggest you to try other courses too.
