Age doesn't matter at all. If your age is between 15-24 years then you can definitely apply for b tech .
Eligibility for agriculture engineering: candidate must have completed class 12th PCM/PCB from a recognised Board with at least 50% marks.

Yes Shri Vaishnav Institute of Technology and Science, Indore has B.E/B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering course. This is a four-year full-time course affiliated to Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. The total fees is Rs 3.34 lakhs. For admissions candidates can either appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains or appear in SVEEE for admission against vacancies. Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology /Technical Vocational subject to be eligible for this course.

After B.Tech in Civil Engineering you are eligible for both M.Tech in agricultural engineering and M.Tech in environmental engineering. The only way to compare the two is with the job prospects they offer.
The average salary offered for an agricultural engineering with masters is - 1.5LPA to 3 LPA
And the jobs that will be offered - Research scientist, Agronomist, Breeder etc.
For an environmental engineer with masters
Average salary - 4 to 6 LPA
And the jobs - Research Assistant, Assistant Professor, Environmental Specialist, Technical Test Engineer, Bio Research Assistant, Project Assistant/Associate, Health & Safety Administrator, Environmental Engineer, Environmental Officer etc.

For admission into the B.Tech Agriculture Engineering, candidate need to have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. Candidates must have passed class 12 from Science stream. Commerce background students cannot apply for the B.Tech Agriculture Engineering.
