Is medical an expensive profession in india ? There is a rumour that aiims admission fee is too much high , is it true ? is aiims expensive as a medical college ?

Dear aspirant

You are surely misguided by someone then. AIIMS is the cheapest institute in india to read MBBS in whole india. It's tution fee is Around 1600-1700/annum including every charges so total cost of course 5.5yrs mbbs will be less than 10k. What will be more cheap than this.

For AIIMS ADMISSION I READ IN AIIMS WEBSITE THAT GENERAL CATEGORY STUDENT MARK MINIMUM 60% IN PCBE. BUT IN 60% ONLY THEORY Ya PRACTICAL ALSO INCLUDED? ME GUJARAT BOARD STUDENT SO OUR THEORY MARK IS OUT OF 100 AND PRACTICAL IS 50. TOTAL 150 MARKS. FOR AIIMS 150(T+P) CONSIDER YA 100(THEORY)?

Hi Aspirant!

To get admission in AIIMS , as you mentioned candidate must have atleast 60% in physics, chemistry, biology and english as compulsory subjects in 12th from a recognized board. This will include pverall marks means both theory and practical marks. So, calculate the percentage you have scored out

Gujarat Board theory marks 100 and practical marks 50 so total 150. in AIIMS admission aggregate 60% so which marks considering during admission 150 ya only theory(100)...?

If your query is regarding AIIMS MBBS then the admission in to AIIMS is based on NEET UG entrance examination. To get admission in to AIIMS you must appear for NEET UG and qualify in it. You also have to fulfill the NEET UG eligibility criteria to appear for

my Marks in english is 58/100 means in theory 38/80 and in internal assessment Mark 20/20 So inter.asst.mark should included with theory Marks for the elligibility of aiims like in PCB we calculate Marks for both (theory + practical) for neet So it is also applied for english for aiims admission

From this year onwards admission to AIIMS is based on NEET only for which the eligibility criteria is as follows;

Attained 17 years age by 31st December of the appearing year.

Passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology/Biotechnology as core subjects.
