At AIIMS, the reservation policy followed for admission to various UG and PG courses is 7.5% ST, 15% SC and 27% OBC, for Indian Nationals. Therefore, out of 125 seats of MBBS,  34 seats are reserved for OBC candidates, 18 for SC and 10 seats are reserved for ST candidates.

There is only one AIIMS at Chattisgrah state which is AIIMS, Raipur. The courses offered at the institute include MBBS, MD programme, BSc, MSc, or more programmes.

At AIIMS Raipur for MBBS programme, candidates were offered initially 50 seats per annum, which was increased to 100 seats per annum from 2013 and from 2020 onwards, 125 seats per annum are offered for the MBBS programme at AIIMS, Raipur.

Students can get admission to MBBS programme at AIIMS, Raipur if they have qaulified Class 12 with 60% aggregate in PCB stream Qualifying exam along with that scores in NEET UG, will also be considered. For admission to BSc programme, candidates should have passed Class 12 with 55% aggregate in

The other BSc courses offered at AIIMS Raipur include B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology, B.Sc. in Medical Technology in Radiography, and B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology. The course fees for entire duration is Rs. 3165.

The fee for BSc (H) Nursing at AIIMS Raipur is Rs. 3165  for entire duration of course. However for postgraduate BSc programme in Nursing, the fees is Rs. 2305 a for entire duration of course.

Seats offered under BSc (Hons) Nursing at AIIMS, Raipur are 75 seats per annum from 2020 session onwards, Earlier, 60 per annum seats were offered at AIIMS, Raipur for BSc programme from 2013 to 2019 session.
