Yes to get admission in MBBS in AIIMS you need to qualify entrance examination and that entrance examination is NEET

Earlier AIIMS used to have its own AIIMS MBBS entrance examination but it then it got scrapped off and from 2020 admission in mbbs is through Neet examination only

Hope you are doing well . From 2020 , admission into all medical and allied courses is to be done on the basis of one's NEET AIR . As far as your question is concerned it's difficult to predict the exact cut-offs as they keep changing every year

Currently there is not any functional AIIMS in the Karnataka State. Though the Government of India is planning to set up AIIMS and AIIMS like institutions in Karnataka soon.

New medical colleges are going to be set up in Karnataka at Chikkamagaluru, Haveri, Yadgir and Chikkaballapur
