I GOT OBC-NCL RANK AS 2166 AND AIR 10107 in JEE MAINS AND I AM UNABLE TO DECIDE WHICH NIT COLLEGE IS BEST FOR MY RANK. PLEASE HELP ME TO FIND BEST TOP COLLAGES FOR MY RANK.

Sach Thadani 13th Aug, 2022

Greetings!

To start with 10K crl is a very respectable rank in JEE, with this you can get into various NITs and IIITs. However truth to be told at the same time you can not get CSE in top NITs or IIIT H. What you can get is IIIT Allahabad/SVNIT CSE. Now in theory there are many colleges you can get, and obviously I can't list all of them here, but by enlarge this the range(Mid tier NITs and all IIITs except H) you should be looking at if you want CSE branch.

If you are willing to compromise on branch then you can maybe even get into NIT Trichy at this rank, but you will get chemical or mechanical branch there...

Now that is the call that you have to make, but by enlarge these(mentioned above) are your best bets

For more on this you can refer the following predictor

i have got an air 78111 in jee mains with 91.3 percentile. which colleges can i get ? general category [ hs:- uttar pradesh ]

Ekansh Singh 10th Aug, 2022

Hi, hagrawal089,

According to your rank you will not get any NIT's in JOSAA Counselling but you can get NIT's in CSAB Counselling so you should wait for it and apply in CSAB but since its very much uncertainty in CSAB round as CSAB is done for only left out seats you should book a seat in a collage and then try luck for CSAB.

Thanks and for further queries you can ask me again.

my air jee rank is 541214 and ews rank is 57817 I belong to ews category, in which colleges i will get admission with these details please answer asap

Sevit Kar 9th Aug, 2022

Hello,

As far as your rank is concerned it is not possible to get through josaa . I would suggest you to keep other colleges as a backup like VIT Vellore, SRM University, Manipal University.

Other than these you can think of going to Gurughasidas bilaspur, Kongri Vishwavidyalaya. Various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper.

If you want to know about the colleges you can check out the link given below -
