In case you dont have any personal choice of branch decide on one of the top 7 IITs in Chemical/Metallurgical/Production Engineering.

I believe you will easily secure a seat at IIT Kharagpur, Kanpur, Roorkee or Madras in Metallugical Engineering while you will get Chemical at IIT Hyderabad, Guwahati and IIT
