The placement scenario is not that good in this colleges rather an average college in terms of placements, only the IT companies come for recruitment also some navy recruitment take place, but chances are low. The highest package goes about 9-10 LPA, but the average package is only 3 LPA. The companies like TCS, HCL, and Infosys come periodically.

Overall the infrastructure of the college is the best in the north zone. It is well maintained and well ventilated.

It would be an average college when it comes to placements of EEE branch.

Hii,A few companies visited KIET campus in 2018 for Electrical core jobs. Some of which include Mohan Energy, Pernod Ricard, Torrent Power, Oppo, Invecas Technologies, Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Sona BLW Precision and Forgings, Anglo Eastern Ship Management.

But these are class recruiters rather than mass recruiters and select around two to three students from electrical department at n average package of 3–4 LPA.

Some other small companies visit KIET campus which recruit students at 2–3 LPA.

But you have good chance in IT sector as many mass recruiters visit KIET sector. Recently for 2014–18 batch six mass recruiters CAPGEMINI, TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, NTT DATA visited KIET campus with package ranging between 3–4 LPA.

Highest package in KIET EEE was offered by HUL which was around 8 LPA CTC.

Hii,Willing for CSE branch but confused about college?Don’t panic. If these three are the options then you should opt for JSS and AKG. In terms of academics and placements JSS would be best for CSE branch. I am not suggesting about SRM because if you want to study in SRM then go for Chennai and not for other branches. Placements are not so good and academics are not so satisfying. JSS will be best if you are considering rules and regulations in mind. Best companies visit to campus and its probably best among UPTU colleges. All the best!!!

If you are asking in terms of education purpose then AKGEC is a good college with decent faculties and very good infrastructure however if you are concerned with placements in Civil Engineering branch then it is not so good. Although you can prepare for further exams like UPSC and other government exams to get a good job. Hope this helps.

Comparing AKGEC and KIET is difficult as both the colleges are the best in terms of the course outline and both provide good technical education and have good placement records, or just parallel to each other. AKGEC and KIET have excellent and highly qualified faculty members, but in regards to teaching methodology, KIET and AKGEC are same.

KIET always focuses on academics with good practical knowledge. For KIET, academics and practical knowledge are equally important which also gives the excellent result as KIET is a no.1 college in AKTU. AKGEC also focuses on the same methodology.
