Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) , Uttar Pradesh will conduct the UPSEE 2021 lateral entry admission process. Candidates willing to get direct admission in the 2nd year of B.E/B.Tech courses through UPSEE Lateral entry 2021 will have to appear for an entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria for lateral Entry is :

• Candidates should have qualified engineering diploma course from a recognized institute

• Candidates should have passed the diploma engineering course with at least 45% aggregate marks.

• Candidates should have passed three years B.Sc. degree and class 12th with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.

Aktu government colleges list is very huge and if you would give us some particular colleges name in which you want to take admission then i would be more specific and would provide you with accurate cut offs for that specific college.

On a general basis, if you want to go to top 2-3 colleges in among the aktu government colleges then a percentile of 96+ would be on a safer side. There are also many colleges which you can grab with low percentile too.

As there are various colleges affiliated to aktu so packages also varies according to college and branch. For example if you are in some of good private colleges then you will have more companies coming for recruitment. For example if we talk about kiet and then you will have more than 150 companies visiting for placement. Similar is other for similar private colleges. Package for average IT company like TCS is 3–4 lpa, new companies offer comparatively more package such as 5–6 lpa, some companies like HUL offer 11 lpa. Byjus have given 9lpa. So you can consider it like minimum 3 lpa to 11–13 lpa according to your strength and company.

You can appear for upsee and for jee main but as per the news that upsee will take admission from jee mains in coming year. So for jee main the eligibility criteria is 12th. And there are many college which provides admission to lateral entry students.

First Btech first year is divided into two semesters.Last year AKTU reduces subjects of both the semester.

1st semester-PPS/electrical,Math1,Chemistry/Physics.

2st semester-Electrical/PPS,Math2, Physics/Chemistry, English.
