I'm sorry for being the one to reveal it to you that it is no easy feat for a general category candidate.

You will need to get at least above 180 to get into any NIT branch. But to be safe, it's much better to get at least above 210 to get into an NIT for your preference.

see in ABUL kalam ajad technical university there is no such rules to change your college after completing first year, however I suggest you to contact with the college authority in which you wish to study, if college authority approve of the admission then you may take admission in another college under same university. however thaper institute of technology takes b.tech second year admission by conducting entrance test for students who have completed b.tech first year.

Admission in AKTU B Tech courses is through the UPSEE examination which is a +2 level exam of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. (AKTU) will conduct UPSEE 2020 on August 2. The last date to fill UPSEE 2020 application form has been further re-extended to May 31 .

For nit Tiruchy you have score at least 250+ to CSE course in open category .it depends upon your branch preference .you may get nit like Nit rourkela, agartala , jamshedpur , ropar , silchar .according to your rank you can get your choice stream also.
