According to the latest MHRD NIRF - 2018 Engineering rankings AMU is at 35th place.

Its a good option after IITs and some old NITs.

The faculty, the labs' facility and overall environment towards studies are excellent. 

Placements are good but nothing exceptional.

The main positive point is

AMU Entrance book for BA by Arihant Publications is best reviewed and students favourite and is strongly recommended as well. Bolk is crisp and lucid and is well defined for exam.
