NO . As i can see in first round waiting gets cleared upto 100 in general list and they geet food and chemistery  .so geting mechanical at this rank is very tough. hope for best. PEACE OUT

I hope you are doing well. AMUEEE is one of the toughest entrance examinations conducted by Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). The most preferred and popular branches of engineering candidates at AMU are mechanical and electrical engineering.

With 142 marks your chances of getting these two branches are low, but you should wait for the official announcement. There might be a chance you can get this branch. The cut off depends upon the number of seats that are available, the difficulty level of paper and number of candidates writing the examination hence, varies every year depending on these factors.

Hi, the applications form date in 2021 wiil be in the 4th week of March, 2021. The admit cards will be released by the 3rd week of April, and the exam will be conducted sometime in the second week of May 2021. Hope this helped in solving your query.All the best!

One cannot predict the marks required to be scored to get admission into AMU B.tech. So let me break it down like this:

AMU CSE Branch has 50 seats

To qualify for counselling process you will have to score 70+ marks as an external  general category student. The rest is decided based on ranks. Ranks and marks can differ each year based on The number of candidates appearing, difficulty of paper, reservation seats, etc.

Since there are only 50 seats in the CSE branch, one can predict that you'd have to be in the top 100 ranks in the AMUEEE exam in order to be comfortably get admission into the CSE course at AMU.

Since there are 50 seats at AMU for CSE branch it can be predicted that the cut off rank would lie somewhere between 1-100 for general category candidates. As for marks to be score to get into that rank range, it cannot be said since it varies each year.

Aligarh Muslim University is a leading public central university which has A graded Institute by NAAC. Though this university neither release its cut off nor any particular data is available anywhere. As the competition is concerned there is no fixed cut-off for entrance. If you score is 90/150( for external student) you name will be there in the selection list definitely and for internal students 80/150 is sufficient to get admit to university.

Whatever it is based on previous year's students' experience. It can vary every year as per demand of competition.
