Where can i find aiims pg previous year question papers? Which mcq books should I prefer for practice of the same?

Mayank Chowdhary 3rd Feb, 2020

See first of all you should know that AIIMS examination has been scrapped from this year ie 2020. And NEET is only a centralized examination for admission to all the medical courses. AnD then Cmng to your question, then I'll suggest you NEET MTG CHAMPION book for Chemistry, Regardless and NEET CHAMPION for Physics, and NCERT reading again and again and any mcq book for practice mostly PRADEEP for biology.

And for question papers, I'll provide you with the link you can check out them there..

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 1st Feb, 2020

If your basic registration has been accepted once, it holds validity as long as you want to appear for the exam. As you have an already accepted Basic registration, when the Final registration window opens, you can use the same Basic registration login credentials and complete the final registration process.

In 2019 i appeared for aiims pg exam, for 2020 session again i have to fill basic registration form or not?

Sanjay Khandelwal 1st Feb, 2020
No once you have completed with basic registration then you will not have to do it again. If you remember your email id and mobile number and password used you can login with that. If you forgot your password you can regenerate it with forgot password link. So with that there will be no need for basic registration if it exists.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Jan, 2020

Candidates belonging to General Category should have completed their MBBS with a minimum aggregate og 55% and those Candidates belonging to SC/ST Categories should secure a minimum aggregate of 50% to be eligible for AIIMS PG exam. There is no rule regarding grace marks. As long as you have achieved this aggregate according to your Category, you are eligible for AIIMS PG subjective to the fulfilment of Internship criteria as as well. I have done my Basic registration for 2019 july session in feb of this year, can i use the same basic registration application for July 2020 ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th Dec, 2019

Jeevan, if the basic registration was accepted in February, you can use the same basic registration and continue with Final registration process. That is completely ok. Infact, if you try registering afresh, the sysytem would prompt you to use your previous basic registration application itself. You can use the same Email Id and Mobile no# and the same details.

my aggregate of mbbs is 54.89 im not able to give aiims pg exam.. what should i do to improve my aggregate now in order to appear for aiims??

iammohdshareef 23rd Jan, 2020

Hello,

If you belong to General/OBC Category, then you should score aggregate of 55% in MBBS. But if you belong to SC/ST Category, then it is only 50% that is required. If you completed your MBBS, then you cannot do anything about your aggregate now because you already completed the course. But if you are in the last year, you can try to improve the aggregate by scoring good marks in the final year subjects. Now it is too late and you can do nothing about it. Other than AIIMS PG, there is also NEET PG and PGIMER. You can try those. I know that AIIMS is a top institution but they do not offer any relaxations in qualifications.

what is registration slip mentioned in the documents to be submitted? will we be required to submit migration certificate also?

Ayush 13th Dec, 2020

Hi Candidate,

The Registration slip mentioned in the needed Documents refers to the Document which confirms that you have got Admission by participating in the Counselling processes and correctly got the Admission in the general procedure.

Migration certificate is another Document which allows you that you can take admission in any other Institute, of your choice. This document is generally asked at the Verification Center to confirm your Admission.

Hope that this answer helps you.
