I can do MBA in Alliance School of Business. is it better?

Gbharath Raj 9th Sep, 2020

Hello aspirant,

Well, Alliance university is famed for its MBA course. It started as a business school and later other colleges were added to form the alliance university. It is located in Anekal, Bengaluru and is the first Indian Institute to be accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), USA. The course matter for MBA is up to the mark. Faculties are well-trained, learned, professional and stress on practical application of what is taught in the classroom.

*INFRASTRUCTURE:-

*The ambiance of university hasamazing, infrastructure is well planned, and they have a matching placement track record.

*PLACEMENTS:-

This year, 30% new recruiters visited the campus. Students also get summer internships with companies like Airtel, Aditya Birla Retail Ltd, Amul, Amazon, Bajaj Finance, Ogilvy & Mather, and many more.

*FEE:-

*While coming fees for pursuing MBA is13.5 lakhs for whole 3 years and eligibility criteria is graduation with 50 percent plus CAT.

*Now, these were the positive aspect, there are some negative points as well. For quite a time, the university is bad spotlight because of the never-ending feud between the brothers for the Chancellor's seat.

Hope it helpful

Hey!

Out of Alliance school of business, Christ University and XIME, Christ University is the best for MBA in my perspective.

Though, all the three universities are good but Christ University has a slight edge over the other two.

Also, it offers good course structure, study material, faculty and placements.

Hope this answer helps!

Hello aspirant,

I'll recommend you to go for Alliance business school over other options as it's provide good facility, brilliant faculty, decent placement and a lot of exposure to it's students. Also Alliance Business Academy is one of the most preferred institutes for management training in India, which was established by Alliance Business School in the year 1996. The institute is known for imparting new skills and techniques that are often required to tackle emerging challenges in the field of business management.

Which is a better option for Finance specialisation out of SIES PGDM vs Alliance school of Business MBA ?

Amita Marotkar 15th Jun, 2019

Hello, Ramesh

SIES PGDM-: Placements are 100% in this college. Also for the current batch, the placements for the internship was 100% for all the streams be it marketing, finance, HR, operations. For this year 2019, almost 70 percent of students are placed until now. Also, there is a dedicated placement cell which is very helpful. faculty are highly qualified with PhDs, and they have good teaching experience from top B schools. Every teacher has their own method which is different and helpful in the best way.

Alliance School Of Business MBA -   Placement of this University is good. After completing the MBA last year's high package placement of this University went to 16lakhs. And the lowest was 5lakhs per annum.20% of last years MBA students got internship from college. Overall as a whole, it is a good college.

All the best!

Is GITAM Hyderabad Business School, GITAM University better than Alliance School of Business, Alliance University?

Abhishek T R 8th Mar, 2019

Hi Makita!

Both the universities you've mentioned here are private entities and thus weighing the pros and cons before you make a decision is rather important. Here's a list of things you could consider and compare between the two universities in terms of fees, the package you'd receive, infra, facilities, and other aspects. Also, make sure that you get in touch with the alumni of the college to know the life inside the campus and the opportunities you could get once you start your management education in the respective colleges. Some of these private institutions don't offer what they promise and the reality could hit you hard later on, so better invest time in working hard and scoring well in next year CAT exam and get into a better B-School which will offer what they promise.

Nevertheless, you could look into the following info if you really want a degree in management -

Alliance University

  • Courses MBA, PGDM, Executive MBA. Specializations ( Marketing, Finance.Operations, Banking, and Financial Services, International Business)
  • Fees is - 13,50,000(tuition fees+registration fees).
  • Factors to consider - Very good infrastructure and faculties. Cooperative and helpful placement team.
  • The university also provides internships(if required) with industries with the stipend starting from Rs. 6000-15000. The highest stipend was Rs. 40,000. Here's what the package looks like -
  • Highest package- 17LPA
  • Average package- 6-7 LPA
  • Lowest package - 4 LPA.
  • Recruiters - Amazon, Kotak, Mindtree, Bosch, Bajaj Finserve, HDFC, ICICI, Deloitte, Coffee day, Philips, etc.

Please visit the link https://bschool.careers360.com/colleges/alliance-school-of-business-bangalore.

GITAM University

  • Fees - 6.4 lakhs for two years program.
  • Placement - 4-5 lakhs average. Mostly around 85% of the students are placed and the rest will have to find their own way. But this is not specific to this university but most of the colleges which accept students with 50 percentile in CAT have the same scenario.
  • Recrutiers- Directi, Amazon, Karvy, Asian Paints, IDBI, BYjus' etc.

Make a wise decision or give CAT once again to get into a better college.

Good luck and feel free to contact for further queries.
