Why Dr Babasaheb R Ambedkar accept Buddhism ? rather than Hinduism for what purpose?

sapanapatil4561 11th Nov, 2020

  • On October 14, 1956, the leader   Babasaheb Ambedkar adopted Buddhism, along with lakhs of his followers in a simple, traditional ceremony at Deekshabhoomi, Nagpur.
  • Declaring that he was born a Hindu, but would not die as one, at a small conference held in Yeola, Nashik, Ambedkar had already quit Hinduism in 1935. Highlighting reasons for the decision, the leader told his followers, So long as we remain in a religion, which teaches a man to treat another man like a leper, the sense of discrimination on account of caste, which is deeply rooted in our minds, can not go. For annihilating caste and untouchables, change of religion is the only antidote.
  • Ultimately, his decision was based on the firm conviction that conversion to Buddhism could really improve the social status of the countrys most oppressed classes, and give them a life of dignity and equality.

Yes there are two Dr. Ambedkar colleges as per K-CET. Both the colleges are under Same and location is also same . But they both are different college types and have different campuses.

College with E004 code is PA college type  ( which means Private Aided. It holds Financial help for for SC/ST Caste category students).

What should I take ISE from The NIE Mysore or CSE from Ambedkar institute of technology

Abir Gayen 26th Nov, 2020

If you consider taking CSE In Ambedkar Institute of technology then i would say not to opt for the college as the college has very poor placements records and the placements percentage is about 50-60% and the faculty members are also of average.SO i would recommend you to go for NIE Mysore since in this college you get a chance of placement at the end of four years and only two three subjects differ from cse course through out enginnering. The infrastructure is quite good in this college and also gives you a good environment to study.

So go for NIE mysore!!

Hope it helps!!
