Hello, Im a first year student and our result has not been declared yet. Im doing bsc in zoology botany and geology. Which code to use to apply for neet 2021?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Jul, 2021
Hi

You need to choose the code 02.

This is because,

Though you are doing BSc your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology remains 10 + 2 as you don't have physics in your bsc

Code 2 is for all those who have already passed 12th/ 10+2 in 2020 or before with physics chemistry biology English .

While those who are doing bsc and have all the 3 i. e physics, chemistry and biology in bsc needs to choose code 5 and those who have completed bsc with at least any two out of physics, chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.

Is AMITY UNIVERSITY (Noida) worth joining ?or should i opt for other universities

Manav Peswani 20th Aug, 2021

Hi,

I hope you are doing well.

Amity Univeristy comes under one of the top universities in the country. It is known for providing its excellence studies which is accredited by “ NAAC “ with Grade A.

The fee courses of the programs can be expensive. But it has to proved time and again, with the wonderful exposure it provides to its students with 100% placement opportunities. Many Multi National Companies such as Google, Amazon, Accenture, etc take part in the placement cells in the Univeristy.

It also provides students with opportunities in the student exchange programs abroad. Hence, it is a wonderful Univeristy over all in terms of academic and exposure for an holistic growth.

But, depending on the programs do research a little on which are the best universities for the particular program you are looking for.

I hope this answer helps!

All the best.

how is Thapar University in comparison to Amity or other private universities.

shreyakhedkar05 12th Aug, 2021

Hello,

If can choose Thapar university over amity.

The academics, faculty, and placement record are very good at Thapar University.

You can get various opportunities to grow as a student. But the university is a bit expensive it costs 1.5 lakh per semester.

The admission is based on JEE mains score.CSE branch records the highest placement every year.

If not Thapar you can also go for VIT Vellore.it is also a reputed university with a good background.

how is civil eng branch in jss noida . Would i be able get placement there or i could try for chandigarh or amity or lpu ???

Srija Mitra 28th Aug, 2021

Hi,

As per the latest reviews of the students who have studied there in Civil Engineering in JSS Noida, the placement offered in the civil branch are highly satisfying. Top companies like ONGC, Wipro, HCL, BHEL come here for offering placements here. The average salary offered is around INR 8 to 9 LPA. Almost 80% students get properly placed into good companies from this college.

The faculty members are also highly qualified & knowledgeable & they adopt a very easy approach to move forward with the lectures.

The infrastructure of this college is great & there are adequate number of classrooms, labs, sports area, etc. The classrooms are well equipped & are fully air-conditioned.

So, overall JSS Noida is a good choice for pursuing Civil Engineering course as the placements & everything else is really good & you need not worry about that but if you want you can also go for the other colleges you have mentioned.

Hope this helps.

amity vs sharda vs jss noida vs gcet which would be best option for btech????

Atul Singh 4th Aug, 2021

Dear Student,

These colleges are divided into two groups, in first one Sharda and Amity are there which is also a university and in second group JSS and GCET, they are affiliated by AKTU and they are the top private colleges of AKTU.

In Amity and Sharda you can easily get your preference seat without any difficulty but for GCET and JSS you need to participate in the UPCET conducted by AKTU.

Mostly admissions are done in Amity and Sharda is on the management quota seats but in JSS and GCET only 15% are reserved for management quota students.

So here you need to understand that in Amity and Noida you will find mostly local Jaat and Gurjars studenst and strength is around 500 student in CSE related course while In JSS and GCEt only selected students are there coming from different regions of UP and NCR and only 60 or 120 students is allowed in these colleges.

Infrastructure of Amity and Sharda is somewhere good compare than JSS and GCET but faculty is more good in JSS and GCET.

In terms of placement every college stand somewhere at the some position as they provide many opportunity to the students still because of less no of students and less competition you will get more chance to prove yourself in JSS and GCET.

The average package of JSS is 6 LPA and the highest is around 40 LPA and coming to the GCET the average package is  around 6 LPA.

If you want the sequence then here it is:

JSS>GCET>Amity>Sharda

Hope you find it useful.

Good Luck :)
