ayanmukherjee045 24th Jan, 2021

Dear aspirant,

Among all the campuses of the amity university , the noida campus is a renowned one and you can absolutely pursue biotechnology in that college.

But the problem in biotechnology in india is there is a bit low scope in india so i would recommend you to go abroad if possible for higher studies otherwise you can also appear for gate if you want to go for research oriented line.

bsc biomedical science in ramachandra university or bsc neuroscience in amity university which is best for future development

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 23rd Jan, 2021

hi,

see the two courses you have mentioned is quite different, b.sc neuroscience eligibility criteria is candidates must secure at least 60% aggregate score in pcb Student should have passed all the subjects of class XII from a recognized board.

eligibility criteria for b.sc in biomedical science in ramachandra university is candidates must complete 12th course from a recognized education boardwith   the subjects of Physics, Chemistry along with Biology or [Botany and Zoology or Microbiology or Biochemistry or Biotechnology] .

now which ever the course you may take it is quite difficult to set up  a relevant profession just after completing the graduation course. you have to do msc course or phd to get research related works. however based on current health treatment system biomedical instruments and softwares needed for various treatment and it would increase day by day.

so it would be best if you opt for bsc in biomedical science.

is it worth to pursue bsc neuroscience in amity university

theeanonymous 23rd Jan, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Neuroscience is a very good field with plenty of opportunities outside India, mainly in the research area. In India it is still a growing field and the course itself is such that, you will not be able to start a career in the field without doing higher studies. So after B.Sc Neuroscience, you need to to Masters in the same , there are many specializations you may take up ,like Behavioral Neuroscience,Cellular Neuroscience,Molecular Neuroscience,Neuro-engineering etc based on your interest , and as I said earlier, even study options are better outside India. In India , for higher studies in the field the best options are either ,National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences - [NIMHANS] or Indian Institute of Science - [IISc]. Amity University is a very good institute for all course, they have good reputation and the faculty is excellent there, so the quality of education and training given will be good. The campus has a very good infrastructure and various facilities like lab, canteen, sports etc, so you will have a best learning experience. So overall it is a good option for B.Sc.
