As you are from Tamil Nadu then there is no need to worry about the marks you can easily get Mechanical or even upper branches in any of the campus in Amrita. I think 80-85 is the minimum marks required to get the seat here for the state quota student for phase 1. You can get even to branches you you score little more in further attempts.

The rank of the candidate is more important than their score, they can select colleges by seeing the cutoff rank that is presented for the particular year. As of 2017, Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri had 6991 as the last rank for Open Quota in EEE branch and 19969 as the last rank for State Quota. Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore had 4051 as the last rank for Open Quota in EEE branch and 19433 as the last rank for State Quota. And Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore had 6586 as the last rank for Open Quota in EEE branch and 19271 as the last rank for State Quota.

Congratulations on scoring rank 113. You will definitely get scholarship with rank you have obtained. The college gives scholarship in three different levels one is 90% ,75% and 50%. The top 27 students are eligible for the 90% scholarship and 75% scholarship and 54 students are eligible for the 50% scholarship. But it is different in Coimbatore campus.

With the rank you have obtained If you choose the main campus that is Coimbatore you may come under the 90% or 75% if you get 90% you have to pay 30,000 and if you get 75% scholarship you have to pay 75,000.

Hello student. 577 rank is a pretty good one for you to fetch a seat in computer science in coimbatore. The cut off for computer science last year went till 1900. This is the closing rank for computer science in open quota.

So this year, the closing rank might definitely increase since it depends on number of applicants, the number of students attending counselling so on and so forth. you will definitely get through. When it comes to other campuses like banglore or kerala, you have a higher chances to get computer science.
