I have got 115/180 in AEEE 2021.Is there any chance of gettin CSE/ECE in Amirtha ?

apoorvakomuravelly 10th Jun, 2021
Hi,
It looks too hard to get in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in the Cse/Ece domain with the mentioned score as the cut off is from 2000 to 15000 which may not match your score. But if from a reserved category may get a chance to get into it. The factors like exam difficulty level and number of applicants may move your step.
All the best.

I scored 122/180 in AEEE, Phase 1. Will it give me a good rank?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 9th Jun, 2021

Hello,

It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank as it depends on various factors like total number of candidates appeared, top score, least score and other such factors. You may expect your rank to be under 10000. Analyzing the previous year cut off you have chances of getting seat in

  • Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore: Chemical Engineering
  • Amrita School of Engineering Bangalore : Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering

Cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

The actual rank may also vary.

Hello aspirant,

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham popularly known as Amrita University, located in  Coimbatore is under UGC and has been accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade. It has been ranked 8th for University by NIRF 2019. BTech admission in this college is based on JEE Main or AEEE rank. 70% of the seats in the college for BTech programme is alloted through AEEE. i have got 106/180 in aeee, amrita engineering entrance examination, will i get seat in cse ai and ds in category 2 in coimbatore campus, and i belong to the state quota..!!

Shja 18th Jul, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

It's good that you have the state quota. It's going to be very beneficial for you. You have a chance to grab CSE branch because of your state quota. Prevailing competitive won't allow a student from open quota with these marks to grab CSE branch which is so popular amongst students. Open quota students need atleast 145 marks to go for this branch. So, don't worry. Attend counseling process till the last round and I have expectations that you might grab your desired branch.

Hope this Helps!
Good Luck

How is the first year in amrita university?[as per academic terms].is it tiresome?can an average student cope up with the syllabus that is taught?

Abhishek Roy 7th Jun, 2021

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has one of the best relaxed and student friendly curriculums among other Private Universities. The First Year hence had minor load with many labs, courses, tutorials, clubs and activities, though in Online Mode, I dont know how much of load will yet be prevalent. However, you must grab every opportunity you get in your first year and lay a strong foundation to your next 3-4 years of respective Undergraduate Course.
