Yes, according to last year i.e 2019 cut off in CIT Coimbatore which is 25118 for SC , we can easily get a seat in Mechanical engineering because your rank is less than the required Cut off.

I am providing the last years cut offs link below you should go through that it will help you in planning for some other branches or for some other campus according to your rank.
Hello student. 1495 is a good rank. There is a difference between trail allocation and the actual allocation. So attend for the counselling. Allocation depends upon many factors lik number of students giving the exam, number of student attending counselling etc.
Computer science in coimbatore might be a bit tough since there is no home quota too. But in amrithapuri, you can try.

Hello student. 5384 rank is a bit higher one. But computer science or electronics and electrical engineering etc. are a bit demanding branches. So it might be a bit difficult to get cse, ece branches in bangalore.
You will be getting through it. But branches allocation is not sure. Attend for counselling. People will drop out after them getting nits or iits.
