The scholarship for AEEE, based on your rank during the time of counselling, ranges from 90% to 25 % . Scholarship seats may vary accordingly as it depends upon the branch and also the campus. You have not mentioned your state so assuming you to be open student and thus you have no chances of getting admission at any of the Amrita campus.

Your son will get almost all branches at coimbatore campus accept CSE wchich as higher cutoffs.

As per previous year closing ranks, you can get CSE and other branches in both Amritapuri and Bangalore campuses, in case of Coimbatore Campus the closing rank has been around 1800 for open quota for CSE, but you have chances for other branches like Aerospace, Civil, Chemical, Electronics and Instrumentation, cut-offs are subjective to change, and based on various factors, check out previous year data at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/aeee-cutoff
First of all I would like to congratulate you on your achievement. Looking at your question of which college is best for cse . The college's you suggested in questions are all great on there place. Amrita is 'A' Certified Engineering College with Software based Teaching and had great placement records with multinational companies. Each and every campus of it is based but Amrita Coimbatore is best college for any Engineering program. This campus of Amrita has AAAA+ Certification which make it best and slightly better than others.

According to your rank you have high chances to get admission in CSE OR ECE as the last year cut offs are near to the 6000 to 7000 rank so you have great opportunity in amrita coimbtoor campus. Ya sure.... As u come under state quota...... U would definitely secure a seat there..... Further u may have category 2or 3 fee structure in amrita coimbatore..... As from this year the scholarship system changed
