hi,
see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on some certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of streams etc. however as per the previous years records for open state category, you have chances in civil engineering, chemical engineering, electronics and Instrumentation streams in amrita coimbatore campus.
hope it would help. all the best for your future endeavor.
Dear aspirent,
Your rank is little bit close to get a seat but if you are from the other state there are very low chances to get a seat,
If your rank is below 1000 you may get easily, your rank is bit close and you have some cases to get seat. It depends on cut off.
All the best.
Thank you

Dear candidate
As you asked that you wanted to know if you can get Computer science engineering at Amrita university and you told that you have secured a rank of 6,900 but you forgot to mention what category or which state you belong as the cutoff trends differ accordingly so, I have mentioned that cutoff trends of Amrita University campuses belowso, check it out
Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita puri
Open quota :6940
State quota :16547
Amrita School of engineering, Coimbatore
Open quota :1813
State quota :13801
Amrita School of engineering, Bangalore
Open quota :6767
State quota :10354
So, with 6,900 rank in AEEE you will not have a chance to get into Computer science engineering at Bangalore campus, Amrita puri campus and Coimbatore Campus if you don't have state quota the chances are very very less even for Amrita puri campus as your rank is on the border so, it is quite difficult but if you have state quota in any of these campuses you can get into Computer science engineering of that Campus.
