Hi Aspirant,
It is a good college with fair placements.Around 70-80% of the students get placed in good companies and a handful number of students get placed from CSE and IT branch.Next phase of recruitment takes place from ECE department.Renowned companies like LC,ACC Cement,MU comes for recruiting students.Infrastructure of the college is quite good with best faculty members.Faculty members are helpful and senior.
Hope it helps!!
Dear aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to know about the comparison between these two colleges which amrita and PSG in Coimbatore.
I would like to recommend undoubtedly psg Coimbatore as this college has a brand name all over the country whereas amrita doesn't have this brand name. Many people from north side doesn't even know the name of this college.
Coming to the college placements,PSG Coimbatore has shown impressive median package than amrita.
You can check out PSG College by checking out this link.

Hello aspirant,
based on previous year's cutoffs, and with your OBC category, you might get into Amrita University. But since you haven't mentioned your OBC rank, here are the list of colleges that you might get in, based on your CRL:
This list might not be exact since the cutoffs and availability of seats in the subsequent rounds of counselling, vary each year. You can use the college predictor tool below to know more: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hope this helps you.
Hello student. With all the category, criteria and rank you have specified, you have higher chances of getting a veternary seat. But, I suggest you to keep applying for other colleges just to be on the safer side. In all probability, you have the fair good chances of getting through kcet with a seat in the college.
Hey aspirant,
Firstly colleges are selected on the basis of your own priorities so do that and now let's distinguish between both the colleges on various points:-
Infrastructure-both the universities are beautifully made so no competition in that.
Popularity-vit is one of the best private university in India and since its an old university so it's well known amongst students and parents. Amrita is also well known and popular amonst everyone.
College life-if you want to enjoy your college life with your friends and want to spent your weekends outside in cafe along with your studiesor something then VIT is really good for you. But if you want to do the same in amrita then you won't be able to as it's really strict and for weekends you'll have to follow many rules. First you'll have to take permission from your parents the your parents will have to talk to the warden and then the warden will sign a pass for you and then you can go.
Placement-highest package offered by VIT is 41.6lpa and average is 7.6 lpa. Whereas in amrita the highest package offered is 43lpa and average is 5lpa.
So according to your priorities you can now select your Preferable college.
Hope it helps
Good luck.
