There are no major differences in CSE/CAI branches but they are as follows:

1) CS is generic and wide concept whereas AI is an implementation.

2) AI is one of many fields in Computer Science.

3) AI is discipline belonging to CS.

sorry to say your rank is too high for open state quota. as per the previous years cutoff this rank is not enough to get computer science engineering in any of the campuses of amrita visha vidyapitham. however cutoff score changes every year and it depends on some facts
