How many students have attended appgecet 2021?? With 80 marks how much rank i will get being Mechanical engineering student under bc-a female category??

Sharon Rose Student Expert 2nd Oct, 2021

Hello,

As per the reports approximately 29,000 candidates appeared for AP PGECET 2021 and approximately 26,000 candidates qualified in AP PGECET this year. It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank as it depends on various factors such as total number of candidates appeared in a particular stream, highest score, normalization of marks etc. The marks vs rank trend changes every year. It is expected that your rank will be below 1000 considering the given score.

i have qualified in gate 2020 , can i know how it will be helpful for me in exam or councelling , like can i mention along with registration for exam or councelling

Akshita Dhiman 19th Jul, 2021
Hello aspirant,

Your query is not clear. Are you talking about your GATE score of the previous year or this year?

In any case, your GATE score is valid for up to 3 years. I am giving a general overview of the GATE exam. Given that you have qualified for  GATE last year it can help you either enroll in a master's degree through CCMT 2021.

CCMT gives admissions to MTech/MPlan/MDes/MArch programs based on the GATE score of this year and the previous years. As of now, registration for CCMT is closed. CCMT primarily is for admissions in all NIT'S, few IIIT's and GFTI's.

You can find more details of CCMT here:
https://ccmt.nic.in/WebInfo21/Page/Page?PageId=1&LangId=P

You can also enroll in COAP which is the common offer acceptance portal. This is for admissions in Mtech programs at IIT's and Isc Bangalore.

You could access the direct link or the link below for more details.

validity of obc ncl certificate ??

Rishin Halder 6th Jul, 2021

Hello aspirant,

While the OBC status of a candidate might change only when the community of the individual candidate is removed from the OBC list, his/her creamy layer status may change any time. Therefore, it is not possible to ascertain a fixed validity period for the OBC certificate.

Although, for most reasonable purposes, the validity of an OBC NCL Certificate is considered to be as 1 year. If the OBC NCL certificate was procured before 1 year, it is always better to get a new OBC NCL before applying for various exams. Also, it is advisable to obtain the OBC NCL Certificate in either English (prefered) or Hindi.

Hope this helps,

All the Best!!
