Prerequisites for GPAT Counselling 2019

• GPAT 2019 Counselling letter (original)

• GPAT admit card 2019 (original)

• GPAT rank card 2019

• 10th class marksheet (original)

• 12th class marksheet (original)

• Graduation certificate (original/ provisional)

• Character certificate (original)

• Category certificate (if applicable)

• Latest passport size photographs

GPAT Counselling 2019

Candidates must note that the GPAT 2019 counselling process will be conducted by the participating institutes individually and not by NTA as a whole. Counselling dates of GPAT 2019 may differ for different ranks of students. Accordingly, candidates must report to the venue of GPAT counselling 2019 at the correct date and time with the required documents. The documents will be required for verification purposes.

Counselling of GPAT 2019 will be conducted in four stages:

Document Verification

• Check the rank wise GPAT 2019 counselling dates which will be released by the participating institutes.

• Report to the particular venue/ institute with the mandatory documents.

• Candidates will not be asked to submit their original documents as those will be checked only for verification purposes.

Web Options Entry

• Click on the ‘Web Options Entry’ portal on the official GPAT website.

• A list of participating institutes will be displayed.

• Candidates can fill in the options with the names of their preferred institutes. It is advisable to choose as many institutes as possible.

• Preview carefully and if satisfied, ‘Save’ and ‘Lock’ the choices. Thereafter, candidates will not be able to alter their choices.

• Candidates can take a print out for future reference.

Seat Allotment

• The allotment of seats will be based on the merit list and candidates’ scores.

• The GPAT seat allotment order 2019 can be downloaded from the official website.

Reporting to the Institute

• Once the allotment process is complete, candidates must reach the allotted institute with the required documents.

• The admission fee (as per the fee structure of each institute) must be paid to conclude the admission process.

The qualified and eligible candidates of GATE/GPAT who have registered for counseling are informed to attend web counseling for admission into M.Tech. /M.Pharm./ Pharm.D(PB) courses on 20-08-2019 and 21-08-2019 conducted in 5 university helpline centres. Well the next step is to wait for the counselling process of AP-PGECET to start. Till now no offcial dates has been released by the authorities reagrding the counselling process. The tentavive date is that the counselling will begin in the 4th week of July, 2019. Below I have provided the counselling procedure for AP-PGECET 2019 - 

• Registration and fee payment : The candidates who have been shortlisted for the counselling of AP-PGECET, will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 600 (for OC/BC) or Rs 300 (for SC/ST). The payment has to be done through online mode i.e. credit card/debit card/net banking.
• Reporting for document verification : After the fees payment, the candidates have to report to the respective venue for document verification.
• Verification of documents : The candidates have to verify their documents by the authorities.
• Filling of choices : Candidates have to choose their choice of college and branch as per their preference.
• Seat allotment : The candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of merit,choice filling and seat availability.
• Modification of option and freezing : After the allotment, candidates will have the option to change their selected preferences if they are not satisfied with their previously made choices.
• Final Seat allotment : The final allotment will be done on the basis of merit,preferences and availability of seats. Candidates can check their result of final seat allotment in online mode.

Sorry to inform you but the counselling links have already been closed on 11 July 2019. The registration was open fron 27 June to 11 July. The counselling dates have still not been announced .The counselling for the qualified students will be in the 4th week of July.
