Candidate must have passsed B.E./B. Tech. in relevant stream and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto.

Candidates have to register online, apply and appear for Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test AP EAMCET conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada. Based on the marks secured in class 10+12 and AP EAMCET with a weightage of 25% and 75%, a cutoff will be released and candidates have to meet the cut off requirement. Further, based on the marks secured in AP EAMCET, candidates have to participate in the online counselling process of AP EAMCET conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).  Final admission will be based on the marks secured in the entrance test, participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

Admission to B.Tech courses is offered by Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences, Visakhapatnam on the basis of AP EAMCET conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada followed by counselling conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). For B.Tech Lateral Entry, candidates have to qualify Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Ananthapur and participate in the counselling process.  ANITS offers admission to M.Tech courses on the basis of GATE scores.
