Hello Yash,
I'm sorry but there is no such provision to apply in advance for any course in VIT. You can only apply for the academic year only in that academic year. i.e. if you want to apply for 2022 batch you have to apply for the admissions when the admission process starts for the batch in 2022 year.
Check the details about the institute for the course below
Vellore Institute of Technology provides a three-year undergraduate curriculum (B.Sc in multimedia and animation). After you have completed your +2 board exams, you can apply for admission to the programme by filling out the application form on the official website. The basic eligibility criteria are that you must pass the exam with a 60 percent overall score across all subjects.
The course costs around one lakh rupees per year, plus a 5000 rupees caution deposit in the first year. Visit the link below for more information

Comparison is generally done between similar things but the two courses you are interested in are completely different from each other. So, choose the subject that you are really interested in studying. If you have a thing for animation then you can go for Bsc course in animation & if you are interested in buildings, designing & architecture then go for the latter one. You can excel in whichever field you are genuinely interested & as far as the institutions are concerned, both are renowned colleges with great faculty but here your issue is with the choice of subjects, so choose whatever interests you the most.
Hope this helps.
