Kolkata has very less amount of job opportunities. Many engineering seats stay vacant even after the spot round counselling . There are no companies coming to their campus for placements and eventually they stay unplaced.
Likewise animation too has no scope in kolkata so i would recommend you to go to Mumbai or delhi or foreign if possible.

The Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. Animation is that you must have just completed 12th in any Board Exam. Other than that, having a good imagination, creativity and interest is enough for you to go ahead! Learning extra Softwares will help you in some way, but they are not necessary for your admission. So, you can join this course and learn other required Softwares simultaneously because it will help you atleast to put it in your Resume!

Yes yes you can surely do graduation in the field of animations. And then apply for IAS exam that is UPSC. The eligibility criteria is just that the candidate must hold graduation degree in a recognized field from a recognized university and he/she must be between 21-32 years of age. If you fulfill both of these, then surely you can apply for upsc and try for IAS after completing your graduation in the field of animations.
