Anna University, Chennai
Hello,
Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital (HBCH) in Sangrur does not offer diploma courses. It has only undergraduate and postgraduate programs in specialized medical fields. I suggest you to look for other good institutions for pursuing diploma.
Hope this helps. All the best!

Anna University, Chennai Cutoff 2025: Check Previous Year's Closing Cut Off Score/Trends BEST REGARDS
Achieving a cutoff score of 189 and being in the SC category gives you a good opportunity for admission to Anna University across different B.E programs at its associated campuses.
Anna University usually allocates reserved seats for SC candidates, and a score of 189 (assuming this refers to your TNEA cutoff or yearly index) typically remains comfortably within the qualifying bracket for several streams like Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and possibly Computer Science & Engineering at various zonal or regional campuses of the university.
Although Anna University’s main campus in Chennai is quite competitive and may necessitate a higher cutoff even for reserved categories, its affiliated colleges and government-supported campuses frequently accept students with scores like yours.
Actively engage in the counselling sessions, prioritize branches according to your interests and job opportunities, and incorporate a variety of campuses, from sought-after programs at the main campus to alternatives in surrounding regional campuses.
It’s important to keep an eye on the spot counselling rounds, as there may be available vacant seats. To enhance your likelihood of success, make sure to submit your application quickly and gather the required documents for confirmation.
With a TNEA cutoff score of 160, getting into the ECE program at Anna University's Coimbatore campus is unlikely. While the expected cutoff for ECE is around 180-190, 160 might be sufficient for other engineering fields like Mechanical Engineering (ME) with a cutoff of 160-170, or Civil Engineering with a cutoff of 150-160.

With a cutoff of 182 and SC category, it is not possible to get CSE in Anna University (Main campus) . The cutoff for CSE is usually above 195 for SC category. But you may get CSE in some other Anna University affiliated colleges or can try for other branches like EEE, ECE or IT in good colleges.
Hope it helps !

Hello there,
Between Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT Vellore) and Anna University (Chennai main campus) , Anna University is generally considered better in overall aspects like:
Academics : Anna University has a strong curriculum and is highly respected, especially for engineering.
Certificate Value : A degree from Anna University is more recognized in government jobs, PSUs, and higher studies abroad.
Fees : Anna University charges much lower fees compared to VIT, which is a private university with higher fees.
Placements : Both have good placements, but top branches at Anna University usually get better offers in core companies.
Reputation : Anna University has an older and stronger reputation nationally and internationally.
If you get a seat at Anna University main campus, it is the better choice overall. VIT is also good but mainly for those looking for a private university experience and flexibility.
