Based on 2018 cut off,  there is a high chance to get CS in SSN.  However mark may vary slightly depending on this year. Better do try for both.

Lateral entry is possible in Anna University. Anna University. Anna university will conduct lateral entry counselling after conducting regular students admission, so you might probably join one and half month. You'd be placed in second year.

I'm Sorry that chances of getting a seat in thiyagaraja college by counselling is very less since the cutoffs are very high. Even the community based cutoffs are pretty high and i do hope you have better alternatives on your mind !
