          148.5 is a considerably decent cut off and you will get mechatronics in tamilnadu. You will get good college if you have a considerably decent rank. But a top college is not a assured one. You will get a decent college.

Your daugter has scored very nice mark,According to my opinion their is  90 % have a chance to get an anna univeristy.But it depend upon the number of applicant they are applying for counselling .Theri is  only 1 % reservation for physically chalenged peoples.This is very good mark

Eligibilty Criteria to apply in Anna University is:

Candidates From Tamil Nadu who have passes class 8, 9 ,10 and 12 exams from the state are eligible.

Candidates who have studied 8th to 12th class in th state to TN are

• BE/ B.Tech and B.Arch admission are subject to candidates merit in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) process which includes choice locking and final seal allotment.
• NATA qualified candidates are also eligible to apply for B.Arch program.
• Candidates have to qualify in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance
