Yes, you can get a scholarship

In Anna university there are two categories of programs one is regular and another one is self support (SS). If you belong to SS category you can't get the regular government scholarship.

But you can apply for other scholarships like central sector scholarship,

I don't think as far as I have searched that VIT comes under MCA counselling in Anna University.

This is because Anna University is a public state university whereas VIT is a private university and both conduct their own separate counselling.

Dear student, as you have been allotted a seat in CSAB, you can definitely surrender your seat but you won't get the refund of counselling process amount. It is so because you had registered for this round specifically.  the refund is only possible if you do not get a seat
