I have scored 395 in neet 2021 as of the answer key. what are some deemed medical colleges to opt for?

pdwords Student Expert 31st Dec, 2021

Hello,

It's tough to make exact predictions as cut-offs vary every year based on various factors such as

  • seat matrix
  • total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • reservation
  • top NEET score,
  • toughness level of the paper, etc...

however if we go through previous year AIQ cut-offs for deemed universities then with 395 marks you may have chances in the following-

  • Institute of Medical Sciences and SUMH, Bhubaneswar
  • M.M. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Mullana
  • Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, Tumkur
  • B.L.D.E University, Bijapur
  • Bharati Vidyapeeth Dee. Univ. Med. College, Pune
  • MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai

however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

  • total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • difficulty level of the paper
  • top NEET scores
  • reservation
  • seat matrix, etc..

m getting 457 marks according to Allen answer key.. whats are my chances for government college through AIQ and in uttar pradesh quota from sc category?

pdwords Student Expert 20th Dec, 2021

Hello,

It's tough to make exact predictions as cut-offs vary every year based on various factors such as

total number of candidates appearing for the exam

difficulty level of the paper

top NEET scores

reservation

seat matrix, etc..

If we go by last year AIQ cut-offs for SC, then it's difficult to secure GMC with 457 marks as the cut-offs are on higher side that is above 500 marks, though you may have chances for BDS in ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga, check out the last year AIQ cut-offs at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges

When it comes to UP state cut-offs, then in 2020 under 85% state quota, 457 marks with corresponding rank of AIR 124567 secured seat in Autonomous Medical College, Bahraich belonging to SC Category, if the cut-offs decrease this year then you may have chances, otherwise there are possibilities for private medical colleges through state quota such as

  • Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki
  • Subharti Medical College, Meerut
  • Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Muzaffarnagar
  • Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital, Bareilly
  • Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences, Hapur
  • Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi, etc...
