Im pursuing B.A Psychology so,can I do Anthropology in my Masters if yes what are the best colleges in India
Hi Nivedita
Well both study human nature. The difference is the ancient versus modern humans. They do study different things in anthropology such as what they ate and how they socialize… in the past and how it affected their society. Psychology is not far off if you think about eating disorders and social anxiety… while the two subjects are vastly different, they are also similar in many ways. So for someone to go for psychology then changing to anthropology, it’s not unheard of. I majored in psychology but I really excelled in anthropology. I think if you present your thesis and defend it very well, you’d pass for a PhD regardless of your background. It depends on the program you’re in.
Hope it helps :)

You can certainly apply for Master's in anthropology after completing your BSc degree with a minimum score of 60% marks from any recognised university. However, you should note that you can pursue MSc in Anthropology and not a MA in anthropology. Nonetheless, both the courses are similar.
