Well both study human nature. The difference is the ancient versus modern humans. They do study different things in anthropology such as what they ate and how they socialize… in the past and how it affected their society. Psychology is not far off if you think about eating disorders and social anxiety… while the two subjects are vastly different, they are also similar in many ways. So for someone to go for psychology then changing to anthropology, it’s not unheard of. I majored in psychology but I really excelled in anthropology. I think if you present your thesis and defend it very well, you’d pass for a PhD regardless of your background. It depends on the program you’re in.

anthropology is the science that deals with the study of how the mankind and his origin. It is the science that deals with the history of the development of human beings and the social, cultural and physical growth and behavior of mankind.
The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing M.A. Anthropology is graduation in any stream, preferably Anthropology, completed from a recognized university/college.The course covers an advanced study of several branches of Anthropology (socio-cultural, biological-physical, applied, linguistic and archaeological), dealing with the various aspects of human development.
One can start working as a professor with various universities among other options after completing their education.
A career in Anthropology will expect the person to be involved in field work and research. There are many an institutes in India that will at the end of the study course employ anthropologists with the Anthropological Survey of India
One has the option to making it to organizations such as WHO, UNESCO and UNICEF. Sectors such as art galleries, curators, publishing houses, NGOs, archives, museums, libraries, etc. are also options.

Department of anthropology in sspu is good according to reviews, faculty is very good and infrastructure is also good enough,students are really bright there and also Curriculum is also good, it's a 7.5/10 college it means it's really a good college.
